Work...At Last!!

I managed a small breakthrough yesterday by finding something worthwhile to do while I am here in Brussels. I got associated with an international association that was looking for a Research & Communications Specialist.

Their office is located in the most prestigious avenue of Brussels. This is the most happening place in the city. I looked around and found a community much unlike the calm, residential township where we currently stay.

I saw busy tram lines neatly criss-crossing the area. The wide avenue had very posh boutiques all around. Young people in minis and micros were thronging the stylish eateries in the area. People in crisp suits and leather bags were hurrying in and out of the many glass towers lined along the busy avenue .

I really liked the bunch of people in my office also. They were very friendly and made me feel comfortable.

I started doing a bit of work yesterday after a very long time. It felt different to be back at a desk in front of the system. I had trouble concentrating yesterday because I was so overwhelmed with the newness of the place.

Hopefully, that will wear out with time and I will get an opportunity to hone my skills.
